| When we were deciding on a name, we wanted to include our Christian faith, as well as both of our ethnic backgrounds, so we came up with "Nastassja Mei Unrau." | |
|
|
- Nastassja (nah-STAHSS-yah) - German version of
"Anastasia" (Greek) meaning
"resurrection." This alludes to the salvation
provided by Christ ~2000 years ago, as well as our hope in the
future, and celebrates her German heritage from Jack.
- Mei (MAY or měi, 美) - Chinese
meaning "beautiful". Because we can't help but have
good looking kids, and it celebrates her Chinese heritage
from Irene.
